Yesterday, it was reported that R&B singer Trey Songz was nearly arrested by the police after he allegedly got into a quarrelled with a female police officer and insulted her at the Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash concert in Atlanta recently.
According to Bossip, the 31-year-old singer was getting ready to hit the stage for his performance with rapper Jeezy as a surprise guest of the headlining set of the night. However, a member of his entourage wasn’t wearing a special wristband to signify clearance to be in the restricted area, and a female police officer stopped him and made it clear that everyone was supposed to put one on. This reportedly made the singer go off on the woman and he was said to have yelled at her and called her a ‘minimum wage-making b*tch!’” which almost landed him in jail.
Now, Trey is speaking up and according to him, he never insulted anyone. The singer shared a video yesterday on Instagram, which he stated was from the night of the event, showing he and the supposed female officer hugging and smiling for the camera with the caption: “What really happened backstage Birthday Bash Atlanta!!! Where do y’all get this shit from man”
While some fans are glad it was a rumour, other believe he paid the female cop to record another video.

Last year, Trey Songz was accused of being rude to a fan during a meet and greet session and there was a video to prove it. You can watch it here.
So are some of his fans right about this video with the female cop being fake?
