After an impressive debut in Captain America: Civil War, T’Challa a.k.a. Black Panther played by Chadwick Boseman, is now officially part of Marvel’s movie franchise with its own solo movie, which will start filming in February 2017 and is slated for release in February 2018.
According to Screenrant, billed to join the lineup of cast is Academy Award winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o; who is building an impressive Hollywood resume and is in talks to join the marvel family by playing Black Panther’s love interest. The new and highly anticipated adaptation of the comic will be directed by Creed’s writer/director Ryan Coogler alongside Joe Robert Cole (a graduate of Marvel Studios’ old in-house writers program).
Other previous marvel stars such as Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman, who play Ulysses Klaw and Everett Ross, respectively,might also make an apperance in the movie since their characters appear in the Black Panther comics
