The ongoing drama between singer Runtown and his record label, Eric Manny Entertainment Records is getting more interesting.
Recall we reported that while Runtown alleged threat to life as well as being defrauded by the label as reasons for terminating his contract, Eric Manny claim Runtown connived with one Bugwu Aneto to sideline the company.
Bugwu, CEO of Bug Media who also doubles as general manager of Eric Manny Records was accused of influencing and teaming up with Runtown to deprive the label of monies paid for shows as well as advising Runtown to ditch the label.
In the court injunction filed by Ericmany Limited against Runtown, Bugwu’s company, Bug Media Limited was listed as one of the defendants.
However, in a chat with thenetng , Bugwu said: “I’ve never been paid a dime by the label. Now here’s the fact: Runtown’s contract says he gets 35%, on my own part as the management company, the contract says I get 15% and I should also get salary as the manager, but none of this was ever followed”.
“As the middle man, I tried to make peace and talk to both parties before it got out of hand but the label didn’t listen,” he added.
