yung6ix 10 Former Nigerian Music Youngsters That Failed To Reach Potential Entertainment

We take a look at Nigerian musicians that much was expected from them when they were very young but one way or another, they didn’t become the man/woman we expected them to be.

Let’s see the artistes that made the cut.

Yung6ix was once regarded as the future of Nigerian rap music after his impressive Oleku cover and back to back decent rap singles.

So far he has grown to become a Nigerian artiste struggling to make an impact in the music industry.

Dammy Krane

Dammy Krane used to be compared with Wizkid talent and ability wise now he can only rant about how Wizkid stole his creative content.

Dammy has so far not lived up to his potential. It is never too late to boom though.

Eva Alordiah

Eva is the last femcee standing in the Nigerian music business and sadly she is not doing enough to hold a voice in the music industry.

Eva turns 28 this year, she is not a youngster anymore.

Former Knighthouse rapper Phenom was highly rated as a youngster. Although he still has age on his side, the rapper has so far failed to achieve half of his potential.

On his day, Phenom still has one of the most impressive delivery in Nigerian rap.

After winning MAMA Awards, Channel O Awards and releasing an album in her early 20s, Mo’Cheddah’s career was halted by a nude scandal.

She is now more known for her fashion and style instead of her music.

EME signed Shaydee as the heir to Wizkid when he finally leaves the record label.

Look how that turned out.

Shaydee is only 24, there is still time.

Chidinma is supposed to be in the league of Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade if her career didn’t stall.

Chidinma turns 25 this year, the year that marks her 6th year in the music business.

Danny Young

Danny Young had back to back hits as a youngster especially with Welcome in 2006 but didn’t monetize because the music industry wasn’t booming as much.

The Ondo state born singer is no where to be seen as at the time of this post

With hits like Lowkey, Ringtone and Bami, who would have thought Flowssick would have gone into disappearance in 2016?

Like Iyanya he might just make a comback in the nearest future. Don’t put your money on it.

W4 was touted at the next 2face, Fela etc after releasing several decent singles including Wa Gba Control.

W4 is of age now and we don’t know where to be found
